Music is in the Fall Air
Rooms 128, 129 and 108 attended a performance by Opera in the Neighborhood, an educational program of the Lyric Opera. The students heard a shortened opera version of Cinderella. The singers were great and very entertaining. Opera can be very funny!
National Public Housing Museum Planned at Original Jane Addams' Homes Site
The stories and triumphs of struggling Chicago residents circa 1930 will be honored at a proposed National Public Housing Museum to be built in a 70 year old vacant building at 1322-24 W. Taylor, the last remaining building from the Depression-era Jane Addams homes.

Our creative, talented, hardworking Jane Addams students present myths, legends, and folktales from around the globe during Celebrations of Learning week.
